For those that don't know the backstory, UpCountry had planned our first ever drag show during the summer of 2023. We planned for the drag show to serve as a fundraiser for a local LGBTQ organization. Unfortunately due to safety concerns for the performers and our guests, that initial show had to be postponed. A part of the fundraiser that was personally important to our founder, John Cochran, was the creation of this "Open Hearts, Open Minds" t-shirt. His wife Irina has been telling their kids since they were wee little ones that the Cochran family motto is "Open Hearts, Open Minds". (Also "Cochran's Don't Half-Ass Anything", but that's a different story for another time!)

We are extremely proud to announce that UpCountry is continuing this "Open Hearts, Open Minds" fundraiser year-round.
